Raymond Steven Badilla, age 75 of Claypool, Ariz. entered into rest Monday, Dec. 12, 2011, at Banner Baywood Medical Center with his family at his side. He was born in Kingman, Ariz. on Sept. 2, 1936, the son of Mary F. Trujillo and Mike V. Trujillo and Ramon Badilla.
Ray proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1959 to 1961. He was a lifelong member of Local 383 Labor Union, Local 428 Operating Engineers and worked construction for 36 years. He was a member of Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament in Miami.
Ray’s family was very important to him; he will be greatly missed by all that knew him.
Ray leaves behind in loving memory his wife of 49 years, Lupe Badilla of Claypool; four children, Anna Sanchez of Claypool, Mike Badilla of Central Heights, Phillip Badilla of Globe and John D. Badilla of Claypool; one brother, Rudy Badilla of Miami; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2011 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament, 844 W Sullivan St. in Miami, Ariz.
Interment was at Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens, in Miami, Ariz.
Funeral arrangements for Raymond S. Badilla were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Miami.
