BRYCE, Dorothy V.

Dorothy V. Bryce, 77, of Safford passed away at her home May 26, 2007. 

Dorothy was born Aug. 30, 1929, in Keene, N.D., to Martin and Lillian (Dickey) Evenson on Dec. 13, 1945, in Sidney, Mont. 

She married Lawrence C. Bryce on Dec. 13, 1945 in Missoula, Mont. Lawrence was drafted into the Navy, and they made their home in California for 29 years before moving to Safford in 1974. There they both took an interest in the Eastern Arizona Old Time Fiddlers. 

Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of 52 years, Lawrence, and two children, Marvin and Judy. Dorothy is survived by her brother, Dale Evanson of Safford; her three daughters, Louise Langley of Safford, Marcella (Bill) Phillips of Pinetop and Michelle Scott of Safford; two grandchildren, Robin Langley of Safford and Lacey Scott of Safford; and her great-granddaughter, Shelby Langley. 

Funeral services for Dorothy were at the Caldwell's Funeral Home Chapel in Safford. Interment followed at the Safford Cemetery.
