DICK, Kenneth Rhorer


The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Wednesday, July 23, 2003 Kenneth Rhorer Dick, of Sun Lakes, AZ, died Friday, July 18, 2003 at Desert Samaritan Hospital in Mesa. He was 75. Kenneth was born in Oakland, but spent most of his youth in Vallejo, CA. He enlisted in the U.S. Army in 1945 and retired as a Major in 1965. He was later employed as Head of Administrative Services at the Exxon Benicia Refinery in California until his retirement in 1982. He was a great supporter of youth activities and organizations at the family and community level. He was active in the Masonic Lodge of Vallejo, CA, the Calendonian Club of San Francisco, and the Rotary Club of Sun Lakes. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Ginia; four sons, Thomas B. (Carolyn) of Chandler, Douglas R. (Beverly) of Mission Viejo, CA; D. Michael (Linda) of Casa Grande, and Garry A. of Denton, TX; seven grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and one sister, Suzanne Denney. A memorial service was held on Tuesday, July 22nd at the Sun Lakes United Methodist Church.
