Wickenburg (AZ) Sun Wednesday, November 15, 2006, p A-12 Edith M Jones, age 74, passed away Nov 8 in Sun City. She was born and raised in Ohio and came to Wickenburg in the early 1960s. She was preceded in death by her first husband Mario Patete in 1969 and second husband Joseph Jones in 2005. Edith was active volunteering with the American Red Cross, Meals On Wheels and lately had been a hospice volunteer. She was guardian to a special niece locally and worked often with special needs children. She is survived by nieces Karen, Cheryl and Connie all of Ohio and step-children, Michael Jones of Chino Valley and Joe Jones Jr and Suzan Carpenter both of Illinois; and three grandchildren Joe, Chris and Ginny. No formal services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home.
