MACDONALD, Ronald J.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Thursday, July 24, 2003 Ronald J. MacDonald, 79, of Sun City, passed away July 21, 2003 at his home. Ronald was born in Nova Scotia, Canada on January 22, 1924 to William and Catherine MacDonald. He served his country during WWII in the US Army. After retirement from Polaroid Corp, he and Mary moved to AZ from Hudson, MA, in 1986. He is survived by his wife Mary; daughters Mary Camilon and Janice Parsons; sons, Ronald J. Jr., John A., Robert, Kevin and Eugene MacDonald, 20 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be Thursday from 2-5pm, rosary at 4pm at Menke Funeral Home, 12420 N. 103rd Ave. Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday 11am at St. Elizabeth Seton Catholic Church, 98th Ave & Palmeras. Burial with full Military Honors to follow. Memorials suggested to American Cancer Society, 12211 W. Bell Rd, #102 Surprise, AZ 85374 and the Hospice of Arizona, 2222 W. Northern Ave, Phoenix, AZ.
