SPITZ,
Sheila O'Leary
The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona
Thursday, July 24, 2003
Sheila O'Leary Spitz lost her fourteen-month battle with lung cancer on
July 19, 2003, in Virginia. Sheila was born in Plymouth, England on July
19, 1930. She attended English schools and had a wonderfully diverse
range of work experiences - model, cosmetic rep for Orlane in London and
Paris, TV talk show host in Michigan, and sales positions in England,
Michigan, and Arizona (The Clotherie, Village Brownstone and She!). She
was loved by all who knew her for her devotion to her family and
friends, ability to find joy in life, kind heart, and love of laughter.
She was truly an incredibly beautiful woman - inside and out. Sheila
will be dearly missed by her longtime companion Paulette Kasieta, of
Alexandria, VA, son Mark Regan, of Monroeville, PA, granddaughter Jenna
(Chad), grandson Josh, cousin June (Norm) Cox, of London, England,
Robbin Regan and the Richter family, great-grandchildren Ryley and
Tanner, and family and friends in Arizona, Michigan, Virginia, Iowa,
Pennsylvania, and England.
Cremation has occurred. Per her wish, anyone wishing to remember her is
asked to take a loved one out to dinner to share a favorite memory (and
hopefully a laugh), or make a donation to the local Cancer Society, or
Lung Association.
