Marion Aaron Kaufman, of Scottsdale, passed away in her sleep on July 
15, 2003. Born in New York City in 1928 Ms. Kaufman spent the majority 
of her life in Connecticut. She moved permanently to Arizona in 1989. 
She was active in many community service organizations, The League of 
Women Voters & and The Jewish Council. She volunteered for many years as 
a Docent with the Scottsdale Art Museum and as a Tutor for The National 
Jewish Council Literacy Program. She loved working with young people, 
teaching them to read. She is survived by 2 daughters, Shari Kaufman of 
Seattle, WA & Jill Lesser of South Port, CT as well as 3 grandchildren. 

Donations can be made on her behalf to The National Jewish Council 
Literacy Program.
