Jeffie Loreta King, 79, of Mesa, AZ entered into rest July 22, 2003 in
Mesa. She was born August 7, 1923 in Ludie, OK to Albert and Jeffie
Hanley. Jeffie was a retired fine jewelry salesperson, having worked for
J.C. Penney in Amarillo, TX for over 16 years before moving to Arizona.
She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and
very proud of her 42 years of sobriety, and her membership in A.A. She
is survived by her husband Chet; children, Bette Howard of Payson, AZ;
Bob Dixon of Rock Springs, WY; 7 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren,
and 7 great-great grandchildren, most of whom reside in Mesa. Jeffie was
preceded in death by a daughter, Janet King of Rawlins, WY.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, July 26, 2003 at 11:30 a.m. at
Mesa Heritage Mortuary, 5650 E. Main St., Mesa, AZ 85205 (480) 985-4900.
