Virginia Griffin
Today we mourn the passing and try to begin a new chapter celebrating the life of our beloved, Virginia Griffin, born Dec. 27, 1927, at 84 years of age. She passed away Jan. 5, 2012.
Virginia will always be remembered as a caring, giving, supportive and strong-willed woman who could accomplish anything she set her mind to do. She was such a great role model and influence to so many who had the opportunity to be a part of her life. Virginia was a loyal wife, mother, grandmother and truly special great-grandmother to her beloved family.
Virginia spent many dedicated years with South Western Bell Telephone before finally retiring in St. Louis, Mo. She and her late husband, Jim Kiefer, then relocated and built their retirement home in the Prescott Country Club, Dewey, Ariz. She and her husband, Bill Griffin, met after being widowed, fell in love and spent 11 wonderful years together playing golf, traveling and enjoying the comforts of life with their extended families.
She is survived by her husband of 11 years, Bill Griffin; daughter Janet de Nu; son Ray; step children Jim, Leonard, Anne Marie and Donald; grandchildren Mike, Jeremy and Kelsey; and her pride and joy, her great-grandchildren, Ashley, Jeremy, Jordan and Hudson.
