Estelle Ann Snarski, 90, passed away July 16, 2003.
Services will be held at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church on July 26th
at 10:00 A.M., with internment at the Veterans Administration Cemetery
in Cave Creek Arizona.
Born on Jan 9, 1913 in Chicago Illinois, she was married in 1968 to
Roman Snarski, a WWII Naval veteran, who preceded her in death in 1990.
Of him she often said "He was the love of my life." As a young person,
EstelIe ran a boarding house in Chicago, with her father for many years.
The last surviving member of a family of 14, she lived in Phoenix at the
Uptown Apartments for over 26 years. Without children, she was extremely
generous to her relatives over the years. Her friends showed her the
love and respect that she sought in her service to others. She was good
to everybody and was respected by all. She was a Christian, God-fearing
woman, and devoted to her religion. She would say the Rosary many
evenings for her family and friends.
Donations in her name can be made to the St. Francis Xavier School
Library Fund or the Serra Club of the Diocese of Phoenix.
