Dorothy Frances Johnson, 67, passed away Jan. 1, in Lake Havasu City.
She was born Jan. 10, 1943, in San Diego, Calif., to Willard and Theda
Colburn.
Dorothy resided in Big Timber, Mont., since 1991 and was a snowbird in
Parker from 2001 until the present. Prior to living in Montana, she
lived in Southern California. She was a member of the American Legion
Auxiliary in Big Timber, Mont. Dorothy loved the outdoors and was an
avid water skier, snow skier, camper and horse person. Her favorite
pastime was spending time with her friends. She is now at peace in
heaven with dad. She will be deeply missed.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Lawrence Johnson; daughter, Deva
Stenberg; mother, Theda Colnurn; brother, Gerald Colburn; sister, Karen
Connell; grandchildren, Bradley Johnson, Nikki Johnson, Hope Johnson,
Jacob Stenberg, Tucker Stenberg and Misty Johnson; great-grandchildren,
Nathaniel and Trynatee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Irving
Johnson, in 1984; and her father, Willard Colburn, in 2001.
Graveside services and interment will take place at Forest Lawn-Covina
Hills Memorial Park in Covina, Calif., Saturday at 1 p.m. Contributions
can be made to the Lake Havasu Cancer Center in Dorothy’s name.
