Robertson - Born September 29, 1947 at St. Joseph Hospital in Phoenix, Arizona, raised in Glendale, Arizona a 1966 graduate of Glendale High School and a Retired member of the Army National Guard and retired Mail Clerk for the United States Postal Service. He was preceded in death by his parents, M.L. and Gladys Robertson and sister Joyce Darlene Robertson. He is survived by his wife, Vera Robertson; step- brother, C.D. Wise of Mounds; Oklahoma; step-children, Jeff Runyan, Patricia Duffy, Scott Runyan, Paul Runyan and Barbara Runyan; grandchildren, Brandon Runyan (16), Jessica Runyan (5), Elias Runyan (9 months), Charles Duffy VI (20), Amanda Duffy (18), Ian Runyan (8), Shane Runyan (1 month) and Nicholas Runyan (11); nephews, Josh Schumacher and Jimmy Wise; and a hosts of cousins and friends. He married Linda Morgan on August 1, 1973 until her death March 27, 1993. Then, married Vera Runyan on October 5, 1996. He was Bingo Chairman and a very active member of American Legion Post 1, Phoenix. He was also a Life Member of Sandy Coors VFW Post 1433, Glendale, and Life Member of DAV Chapter 1, Phoenix. Graveside Service Monday, July 28, 2003 at 9:30 AM at National Memorial Cemetery of AZ.
