SULLIVAN, Darel V.

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Sunday, July 27, 2003 Darel Sullivan, 73, of Glendale, AZ passed away July 23, 2003. Sully served his country for 21 years in the Marine Corps & was a Vietnam Veteran. He was a Member of The Loyal Order of the Moose for 26 years, holding degrees of Legion, Fellowship, Pilgrim and numerous other positions. He was a Member of The Fraternal Order of Eagles & the VFW. He was a retired buyer from the Phoenix Union School District. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sue; sister, Jean; brother, Gerry; daughters, Sharon & Cyndi; son, David; granddaughters, Jessica, Shannon & Alicia; grandsons, Nicholas, Jay & Dana; great-granddaughters, Mackenzie & Sierra; great-grandsons, Mark & Michael, and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. He was the best thing to ever happen to us and will be missed by all. Visitation will be held 5-8 pm Monday, July 28, 2003 at Valley of the Sun Memorial Park 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ. Service will be held 9am Tuesday July 29, 2003 at Valley of the Sun Memorial Park, 10940 E. Chandler Heights Rd, Chandler, AZ. Following service a buffet will be held at Avondale Moose Lodge, 1572 S. Cotton Lane, Avondale, AZ. Pilgrim Service will be held August 2, 2003 at 3:00 pm at Avondale Moose Lodge. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Moose Charities in his name.
