She is survived by her daughter, Saundra Jean Smith (Doug) and granddaughter, Kelly Jansen (Tom), all of Phoenix. The family suggests donations be made in Mrs. Thorp's name, to Alzheimers Disease, 1028 E. McDowell Rd., Phoenix 85006 or Hospice of the Valley, 1510 E. Flower St., Phoenix 85014. Private arrangements were made by Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary, Sun City, AZ.
