Celeste June Wahl, 20, of Mesa, AZ passed away on July 22, 2003 at the
LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, UT due to injuries sustained in an
automobile accident. Celeste was born on June 9, 1983 in Mesa, AZ where
she lived and attended school, graduating from Mountain View High School
in 2001. She was a member of The National Honor Society & received a
scholarship to attend Arizona State University. She was currently a
third year Biology Major. Celeste enjoyed the outdoors, including
camping, hiking & fishing, as well as softball and other sporting
activities. Celeste enjoyed playing her violin and was very talented.
She also had an extreme love for Swing & Latin dancing. Celeste was a
faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints where
she served many callings. Celeste touched the lives of all that knew her
with her sweet spirit & kind nature. She is loved & will be extremely
missed by all of us. She is the beloved daughter of Bill and Corlea
Wahl, sister of Sterling WahI, fiance of Jeffrey Stowell, and
granddaughter of Robert Wahl, Nilus Hargrave, Charles and Annalee King.
A viewing will be held on Monday July 28, 2003 at Meldrum Mortuary, 52
N. Macdonald St. Mesa, AZ from 6-8 PM.
Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday July 29, 2003 at The Church of
Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints, Mesa North Stake Center, 933 E. Brown
Rd., Mesa, AZ at 9:00 AM with a viewing one hour prior to services.
Interment at the City of Mesa Cemetery.
A memorial fund has been set up in Celeste Wahl's name, in care of her
Bishop, Mesa LDS North Stake Center, 933 E Brown Rd 85203.
