NEYLAND, Raymond Edward


Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Monday, January 9, 2012 - Raymond Edward Neyland passed away Jan. 2, 2012 in Lake Havasu City at the age of 81. Ray was born on Jan. 22, 1930, in Butte, Mt., to Phillip and Cecilia (Kramer) Neyland. Ray proudly served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps and was the recipient of the Purple Heart, Silver Star and Bronze Star. He was a member of the Elks, the Eagles, the Moose and the VFW. Ray was an avid bowler and golfer. He also enjoyed taking road trips in his motorhome, exploring the country with his second wife, Roberta, who preceded him in death. Prior to moving to Lake Havasu City 21 years ago, Ray worked in the insurance field in claims management. Ray is survived by his loving wife, Shirley; son, Ron Neyland, of Gardenville, Nev.; daughters, Tracy Fielder, of Henderson, Nev., and Cindy Sullivan of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; brothers, Dewane Neyland, of Seattle, Wash., and Larry Neyland, of Spokane, Wash.; and 11 grandchildren.
