The White Mountain Independent, Show Low, Arizona ~ 01/10/2012 Shane Rogers, 41, died Wednesday, Dec. 21, 2011 in Mesa. He was born April 1, 1970 in Silver City, N.M the son of Merlyn “Sug” Leon and Betty Elaine Whittemore Rogers. Shane worked in construction and was a cowboy. He lived and worked in Nutrioso and surrounding areas for most of his life. He cowboyed on several ranches and owned his own construction company. He will be missed by family and friends. Shane is survived by his sons: Destry Rogers, Chance Rogers and Spencer Rogers; parents; sisters: Kari Lemons, Shawna Lee, uncle Kirk Whittemore; and grandfather Leo Rogers.
