GROSSMAN, Howard

16 Oct 1922 - 25 May 2007 Dr. Howard Grossman, 84, of Sun City, Arizona, formally of St. Louis, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Friday, May 25, 2007. Howard was a musician and served his country in the United States Army during World War II. He graduated from Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri with a degree in education and taught music. He then went on to graduate from Logan College of Chiropractic, St. Louis, Missouri. He had his practice for many years. He also played with the Gateway Band of St. Louis. His retirement years were spent playing golf and music in the Phoenix area and with the Jack Merlin Band, the Ron Carrow Band, the Sun City Pops and various other bands. He will be missed by all of his family, band members and friends whom he had contact with throughout his life. Published in the Daily News-Sun on 6/6/2007.
