KUNZ, George

George Kunz, 92, of Sun City, Arizona, formerly of Edina, Minnesota, passed away Friday, May 26, 2007. 

George graduated from Northwestern University in 1938 and lettered in the Big Ten. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, Nadine, and his daughter, Barbara Henry. He is survived and deeply missed by his son, Richard (Kathy) Kunz; his grandson, Garrett Kunz; and granddaughters: Kelsye and Meghan Kunz and Lisa Grossman (Troy). 

A memorial service was held on Saturday, June 18, 2007 at Sunland Memorial Park and Mortuary, 623-933-0161. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be sent to the Leukemia Foundation of Arizona, 4304 S. McClintock Drive, Tempe, Arizona 85252 or the Alzheimer's Association, 1036 E. McDowell Road, Phoenix, Arizona 85006-2622.
