Barbara Jean Benge, 78, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2007 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
She was born November 15, 1928 to the late William H. and Katie M. (Wakeland) Taylor.
Barbara was a full-time homemaker, a member of the Greenwood (Indiana) Christian Life Church, and an avid bowler and golfer.
She is survived by her sons: Thomas M. (Norma) Benge, Douglas E. (Jane) Benge, Richard R. (Norma); her daughters: Linda J. Muller, Toni M. (David) Roland, Judith F. (Steve) Sigman; her adopted son, Alan (Susie) Livingston; her brother, Jimmy L. Taylor; seventeen grandchildren and twenty-seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard L. Benge; her brothers: Robert J. Taylor, William H. Taylor, Jr. and Roy O. Taylor; and her sister, Margie Quick.
Visitation and funeral service was held on Tuesday, June 12, 2007 at Seals Funeral Home and Cremation Cervices in Fortville, Indiana, 317-485-5144. Memorial contributions may be made to the hospice program at St. Francis Healthcare Foundation, 5255 E. Stop 11 Road, Suite 245, Unit 2, Box 2P, Indianapolis, Indiana 46237.
