NEMEC, Donald F.

Longtime resident Donald F. Nemec passed away Saturday, June 2, 2007, in Kingman. 

He was born in St. Cloud, Minn., and lived in Southern California with his family until his retirement as chief transport pilot of North American Aviation. He then moved his family to Kingman. 

His beloved wife, Marian, preceded him in death last year. He is survived by his sons, Donald Jr., and Michael (Jodie) Nemec of Kingman; his daughters, Patricia Rowe of Texas, Peggy Carlisle (Bob) of Oregon and Susan Garcia of California. He is also survived by his grandchildren, Natalie and Revee Nemec of Kingman, Tami Santy, Sandy Garcia, Sendy Hartwell, Mark Christianson, Sara Zoernor and Benny Garcia of California, Michael Garcia of Washington and Lori Rosman of Minnesota, as well as 23 great-grandchildren. 

Private services were held. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the local national lung association.
