Martin Smalheiser, age 78, passed away July 25, 2003 in Phoenix, AZ. He 
was born in Bronx, N.Y. and moved to the Valley eight years ago from 
Florida. Martin was a veteran of WWII serving with the US Army in 
Europe. Survivors include his beloved wife Arline, nieces, Irene (Mike) 
Rutigliano, Amber Brandes and Victoria Rutigliano, nephews, Abraham, 
Wayne (Elaine), Ari Brandes, and Jake Rutigliano, sister-in-law, Rhoda 
(Paul) Miller, brother- in-laws, Warren (Lisa) Brandes and Ronald 
Brandes. 

Graveside funeral services Tuesday, July 29th at 1:00 PM in National 
Memorial Cemetery, 23029 N. Cave Creek Rd., in Phoenix. 

Contributions in his memory are requested to American Cancer Society, 
2929 E. Thomas Rd. Phoenix, AZ 85016.
