EVANS, Webb Daniel


Arizona Silver Belt, Globe, Arizona Wednesday, January 11, 2012 Webb Daniel Evans, age 77, passed away Monday, Dec. 26, 2011. He was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on Dec. 29, 1933, the son of Sylvia G. (Price) and Charles D. Evans. Webb was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He was a past Bishop, and served in the Stake Presidency in New Orleans, and he taught in various church organizations. He was a devoted executive chef and food beverage director for Apache Gold Casino in San Carlos. Webb was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Stanley Charles Evans. He leaves behind in loving memory his wife, Jerry E.B. Evans of Globe; seven children: Lisa Evans Turville (Rob) of Bountiful, Utah, Leslie Evans Tomek (Dave) of Salt Lake City, Utah, Lane Thomas Evans of Manchester, Tenn.; Lyle Lawrence Evans (Dawn) of Harrisonville, Utah, Lynnette Evans Larson (Trent) of West Bountiful, Utah, Lori Evans of Bountiful, Utah, and Lance Charles Evans of Mesa, Ariz.; one sister, Kathleen E. Reese of Salt Lake City, Utah; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. A burial service was held in Salt Lake City, Utah. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 13, 2012, at 1 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Stake Center, Highway 60, in Globe, Ariz. Funeral arrangements for Webb D. Evans were entrusted to Miles Funeral Services Globe.
