Arizona Daily Sun, Flagstaff, Arizona Thursday, January 12, 2012 Connie C. Budd of Cornville, Arizona, passed away after a long illness at Hospice of the Valley in Sun City, Arizona on January 2, 2012, at the age of 84. Connie was born on October 1, 1927, in Atchison, Kansas, to the late Vernie and Nell Vivian Pratt, formerly of Flagstaff and Sedona, Arizona. Connie is survived by her three children, daughter, Sharon L. Cook, of Phoenix, Arizona; son, Lon V. Harkey, of Flagstaff, Arizona; and son, Stephen W. Harkey, of Flagstaff, Arizona. She is also survived by her sister, Jo Ann Flinn, of Lake Montezuma, Arizona, sister, Vicki L. Hand, of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandchildren and six great grandchildren. Connie was a dispatcher for the Sedona Sheriff's Office and Fire Department for several years and in recent years was employed by Sedona Winds, Assisted Living Center in West Sedona, Arizona. There will be a family ceremony at Sedona Cemetery where she will be laid to rest beside her beloved parents.
