Today's News-Herald, Lake Havasu City, AZ - Published Tuesday, January 10, 2012 - George Calvi passed away Dec. 21, 2011 at the age of 66. He was born in Chicago Oct. 28, 1945. George retired from the United States Postal Service in 2000. He moved to Lake Havasu in 2002 to spend his retirement in the sun. George is survived by his wife, Sharon; children, Jason and Jennifer; two grandchildren; step-daughter, Sheila and her family; several nieces; nephews; and a multitude of friends. He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose in 2007; sister, MaryAnn in 2008; brother, Ken in 2010 and his father, George in April of 2011. Military honors will be performed at the Grass Bowl at Rotary Park, Saturday, Jan. 14, 2011 at 2 p.m. George would definitely want you to be comfortable, so please feel free to wear jeans and tennies!
