Helen G. Lucy, 96, died Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011, at her home in Lakeside. She was born in San Francisco, Calif.

Helen lived in Honolulu, Hawaii for 65 years. During WWII, she was a civil defense volunteer. She was a long time member of the Eastern Star. Helen was a school secretary in Honolulu for many years, and a very active member of her church. She was a devoted mother and grandmother.

Helen is survived by her daughter, Lauren Novy of Lakeside; her son, R. Warren Lucy of Texas; and her grandson, Stephen Novy.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.
