TUCKER, Jim D.

The Verde Independent, Cottonwood, Arizona Thursday, January 12, 2012 Jim D. Tucker, 74 passed away peacefully on January 6, 2012 after a long battle with Multiple Myeloma. He was born August 7, 1937 to Hiram and Gladys Tucker in Morrilton, AR. He has two brothers who have survived him, Charles "Woody" (Imgard) and Paul with James preceding him in death. He proudly served his country in the Navy. He has two children from his first wife Valerie, who preceded him in death. Jim (Kelley) and Van Aldon (Michele) both live in the Phoenix area. Jim married Barbara Davis in 1995. Jim is also survived by Barbara's children Dan Davis, David Davis and Denise Sturgis. He ran his successful roofing company from 1972-1998 when he retired to Rimrock. He has three grandchildren from his sons, 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren from his marriage to Barbara. The viewing was Thursday Jan 12, 5-7 PM at Whitney Murphy Funeral Home in Phoenix. Funeral Services at St. Theresa's Catholic Church in Phoenix Friday January 13, at 10AM with burial at St. Francis Cemetery. Information provided by survivors.
