TWITCHELL, Kerrie Bernell

The Arizona Republic, Phoenix, Arizona Tuesday, July 29, 2003 Kerrie Bernell Twitchell, beloved husband, father, son, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away July 26, 2003, age 47, at his home in Glendale, AZ after succumbing to cancer. He faced his final challenge with the great strength and courage that was always so typical of Kerrie, adding to that a renewed faith, having completed the things that he needed to do in this life. Kerrie Bernell Twitchell was born February 22, 1956 to Alice Jolley and Lorin Bernell Twitchell in Cedar City, UT. He was raised and went to school in Cedar. Kerrie lived a short but very full life. His adventurous spirit took him to many places. He lived in Salt Lake City, UT, Stevensville, MT, St. George, UT, Page, AZ, Flagstaff, AZ, and Phoenix, AZ. He married Tracy Eldredge on June 9, 1978. Their marriage was solemnized in the St. George Temple July 2, 2003. Together Kerrie and Tracy lived a full life, traveling to many different parts of the world. Kerrie was always a self-employed entrepreneur and was successful in many of his endeavors. His magnetic personality and talent for speaking was an attribute that was loved and appreciated by many. He was a friend to all and the pleasure of his company was always a treat. He enjoyed hard work and he was very good with his hands. He built beautiful furniture, which he decorated his home and many others with. He was an expert tile setter among many other traits, but mostly loved strengthening and motivating family, friends, and associates in and out of his business. Kerrie enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors especially traveling, which he did extensively. He was a wonderful, wonderful man and his passing leaves a big void in our lives. He will be greatly missed, but we know we will be re-united with him again. Kerrie is survived by his sweet wife, Tracy; son, Ryan; daughters: Misty (Jake) Knight, Kassidy, and Kalee; his mother and stepfather Alice and Irvin Allen; brother and sisters: Robyn (Kim) Twitchell, MahIon (Wanada) Twitchell, Collin (Michelle) Twitchell, Danielle (Bruce) Price, Camielle (Mike) Ence. He was preceded in death by his father Bernell Twitchell. Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday July 30, 2003 at 11:00 AM at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter day Saints Foothills Ward, 4901 W. Union Hills, Glendale, AZ, with viewing from 9:45-10:45 AM. Meldrum Mortuary handled the arrangements.
