RIMESTAD, Rebecca (Becky) Lynn

Rebecca L. Rimestad, 56, of Yuma, died Jan. 5, 2012, at Yuma Regional Medical Center. Born Dec. 9, 1955 in Monroe, N.C., she was a psychiatric counselor and veteran of the U.S. Army. Memorial services will be 5 p.m. Jan. 21 at Community of Christ Church, 3806 W. Linda Lane. Pastor Terry Crabtree will officiate. Desert Valley Mortuary is handling arrangements. She was born on December 9, 1955 in Monroe, N.C. daughter of the late Oscar Elmer Cable and Betty Black Cable. Becky dedicated her life to helping others through counseling, which allowed her to touch many lives. She was a loving mother and a great friend. She will be missed by all who know and love her. Becky is survived by one son, Jeremy Micah Johnson of Yuma, AZ; her brother and sister-in-law, Danny and Karen Cable of Monroe, NC.
