KLIMASZEWSKI, Kari Lynn

Kari Lynn Klimaszewski, 48, of Litchfield Park died Aug. 18, 2006. Mrs. Klimaszewski was born Dec. 18, 1957, in Minneapolis and spent most of her childhood in Nebraska. She graduated from the University of Nebraska in 1981. She later moved to Houston, where she met her husband, Steve. The couple lived in Laredo and McAllen, Texas, and later in Falmouth, Maine. Mrs. Klimaszewski earned a second academic degree from the University of Texas at Pan America. She and her husband later moved from Maine to Arizona, where she worked as a special education teacher at Agua Fria High School in Avondale. Mrs. Klimaszewski is survived by her husband, Steve; her mother, Ruth Megard of Lincoln, Neb.; and one brother, Jay of Denver. A service will be held at 5 p.m. today at Trinity Lutheran Church, 830 E. Plaza Circle in Litchfield Park. Memorials may be sent to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation, 2040 W. Bethany Home Road, Phoenix, AZ 85015. Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel in Goodyear made the arrangements.
