MEDINA (REV.), Tomasa L.

Rev. Tomasa L. Medina, 83, of Avondale died Aug. 23, 2006.

Mrs. Medina was born Dec. 22, 1922, in Texas to Filiberta and Pedro Medina.

She is survived by one daughter, Lisa Tamez; two sisters, Lupe Schneider and Dionecia Leija; one brother, Paul; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 6:30 to 9 p.m. Sunday at La Mision Jubilee Center, 11147 W. Buckeye Road in Avondale. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Aug. 28 at Avondale Christian Assembly, 1471 N. Eliseo C. Felix Jr. Way in Avondale. Interment will be at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.

Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel in Goodyear made the arrangements.
