Mayme Peters, 84, of Avondale died Aug. 14, 2006, in Goodyear.

Mrs. Peters was born April 3, 1922, in Oklahoma.

Mrs. Peters is survived by one daughter, Judy Morain; one sister, Juanita Martin; three grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Service will be private.

Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel in Goodyear made the arrangements.
