MCNAMARA, Joanne Marie

Joanne Marie McNamara, 66, of Buckeye died Aug. 11, 2006.

Mrs. McNamara was born Jan. 19, 1940, in Carthridge, N.Y. and moved to west Phoenix in December 1969, and then to Rainbow Valley in 1978. She remained in the Buckeye area after that.

Mrs. McNamara worked as a cook at Mother's Grill and as a preschool teacher and cook at First Baptist Preschool.

Mrs. McNamara is survived by her husband, Lawrence; two daughters, Lynda Shaw and Michele of Buckeye; one son, Lawrence of Buckeye; one brother, Bob Carlton of Tucson; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today, and at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 Baseline Road in Buckeye. Interment will be at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Park in Buckeye.

Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements.
