SAIN, Mary Fern

Mary Fern Sain, 84, of Goodyear died July 26, 2006, at the Palm Valley Hospice Home in Goodyear. Mrs. Sain was born May 2, 1922, in Missoula, Mont., to Mary and Arthur Bailey. She and her family later moved to Idaho, where she graduated from Pocatello High School in 1940. She married Harvey Sain in 1943, and the couple moved to Arizona in 1965. Mrs. Sain worked as a civil service employee at Luke Air Force Base and retired in 1983. She was a member of Goodyear City Charter Committee, Business and Professional Women's Club and Luke Air Force Base Ladies Auxiliary Officers' Club. Mrs. Sain was preceded in death in 1980 by her husband, Harvey. She is survived by four brothers, Fores, Daniel, Virgil and Arthur. A service was held Monday at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary in Glendale, which made the arrangements. Source: West Valley View August 1 2006
