GIBSON, Elaine Rose

Elaine Rose Gibson, 57, of west Phoenix died July 25, 2006.

Mrs. Gibson was born Nov. 10, 1948, in Racine, Wis. Raised and schooled in Wisconsin, she eventually moved to Arizona, where she worked as a program service educator for the Department of Economic Security. She was a longtime member of the Worship & Word Church in Peoria.

Mrs. Gibson is survived by one son, Leslie Curtis Gibson; her parents, Edna and Leroy Van Cleve; one sister, Karen Keighard; three brothers, Norlan, Curtis and Jerry Van Cleve; and two grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 E. Baseline Road in Buckeye. A service will be held at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Truth Tabernacle Church, 825 N. Central Ave. in Avondale. The Rev. Ray Brown will officiate. Interment will be at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.

Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home made the arrangements.
