Amy Sue Amos Hogan Hellin
Amy Sue was born on Aug. 5, 1979, in Phoenix, Ariz., and left us to walk with Jesus on Jan. 8, 2012, in Prescott, Ariz. Amy was a loving and devoted mother to her two children and a dear sister and daughter. She will be remembered for her smile, sense of humor, kind words and loving heart. Amy always helped everyone she could and was thought of by many as a best friend.
Amy leaves behind her two children, Christopher Ryan (13) and Amelia Rose (10). Amy was recently engaged to be married to Tommy Walla. She also leaves behind her mother and stepfather, Sue and Bill Hogan; sister Rhiannon (Tom) Gianfrancesco of Chino Valley and their three children, Thomas, Tyler and Trevor; sister Callie (Ethan) Amos of Oregon and their three children, Logan, Kyle and Erica; brother Aaron Amos of Chino Valley; grandmother Marge (Ned) Crimp; and grandparents Vic and Kay Crimp of Mesa. Amy also leaves behind a large extended family and many friends who will greatly miss her. She was preceded in death by her father Randall C. Amos; grandfather Richard Sisk; and her beloved dog, Master.
A celebration of Amy's life will be 11 a.m. Monday, Jan. 16, 2012, at the Chino Valley Community Church. In lieu of flowers, the family has set up an account for Amy's children at Chase Bank and requests donations be made for them.
Amy no longer walks as an angel among us but with Jesus as an angel watching over us.
Chino Valley Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements.
