Damon passed quietly into God's hands Friday, Dec. 26, 2008, at home with his family. Born Sept. 16, 1932 to Addie and Odie Duncan at the family farm in Muleshoe, Texas; Damon was the last of four siblings.
All of his family preceded him in death. He graduated from Circleback Elementary, Sudan High School, Texas Tech, and ASU; obtaining a Masters degree in mechanical engineering. He enlisted in the Army and served two years in Korea with the 1169 Engineering Air Group. Damon retired after 32 years with Sperry Phoenix Company and Honeywell Space Center in research and development. He also taught Engineering at Phoenix College for 10 years. After retiring, Damon moved to Prescott. His hobbies were playing music, painting, genealogy, and traveling. Damon was a man of integrity who loved God, church, and family. He will be greatly missed by all. He is survived by his beloved wife, Sarah; children, Lance Duncan, Scott Duncan, Kathy Brewer and Teresa Middleton; seven grandchildren; one great-grandson; and one great-grandson on the way.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 30, 2008 at Willow Hills Baptist Church. Interment will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 31, 2008 at the National Cemetery in Phoenix.
