SCHAFER, Carolyn Grace

Lake Powell Chronicle, Page, Arizona Thursday, Dec 29th, 2011 In loving memory of Carolyn Grace Schafer, born in Sterling, Colo. on Aug. 31, 1936, died Dec. 20 in Page. Carolyn leaves behind many loved ones including her husband, Harold W. Schafer of Page. Children: Son, Leslie Auman from Winlock, Wash. and daughters, Vera Stewart from Joseph City and Becky Kline from Cortez, Colo. Also, her brother, David C. Nicholson from Cinbar, Wash., and 19 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Carolyn is preceded in death by her father and mother, Carroll Nicholson and Louise Nicholson, and her sisters, Marge Stoup, Evelyn Dantinne, Mary Lou Peachy and grandson, Leslie C. Auman. Carolyn loved to cook, fish and travel with her husband when they could. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and her dogs, Sugar and June. Carolyn had a great deal of love for her spiritual sisters and brothers of The Kingdom Hall of The Jehovah’s Witnesses of Page. Our mother, sister, aunt, grandmother and friend will be deeply missed. Our family and Carolyn would like to thank all you who supported and loved us throughout the end of her time with us. A special thanks to Linda Pineda.
