WALLACE,
David W.
Lake Powell Chronicle, Page, Arizona
Tuesday, Nov 29th, 2011
David W. Wallace passed from this earth to meet his Lord on Nov. 20.
He is survived by his wife Ruth, two children, Vicki Jackson (Bob), and Craig Wallace (Alana), four grandchildren, Mitchell Jackson, Melinda Villasenor, Jared Wallace, and Tori Punk, five great grandchildren, and one on the way, brother Glenn Wallace, two sisters, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Upon Wallace’s retirement from Salt River Project 17 years ago, he and wife Ruth moved to Rim Country from Page, built a new home and settled into country living. Wallace and Ruth were active members of Mountain Bible Church and would have been married 50 years this coming May.
Wallace was a generous man. If anyone had a need, he always tried to help or give what was needed. He served his country in the U.S. Navy and enjoyed singing in barbershop quartets.
Wallace will be buried in the family plot in Sun City. A private, family, graveside committal service will be held to honor his passing.
Following the holiday season, there will be a memorial service on Jan. 7, 2012 at Mountain Bible Church.
