Lake Powell Chronicle, Page, Arizona Thursday, Nov 10th, 2011 Hessie Mae Clonts Mosier Dalgarno passed away on Oct. 29 at Redrock Care and Rehabilitation Center in Cottonwood. Previously, she also lived at Cottonwood Village for several years. Dalgarno was born a twin on Oct. 12, 1919 in Eldorado, Okla. Dalgarno married Floyd Mosier on June 14, 1938 in Bakersfield, Calif. where they were both field workers. They were blessed with three sons, Hershel, Kenneth and Eddie. In 1978 they moved to Page where Hessie was very active in the Order of the Eastern Star, as well as being an avid and gifted quilter. She willingly shared her quilting talents with many people. She also served as the head of the Board of Elections for many years and voted in every election until she was 89 years old. Dalgarno was preceded in death by her twin sister Lessie, her husband Floyd Mosier, her second husband Fred Dalgarno and her son Kenneth Mosier. She is survived by one sibling, Cora Lee of California. She is also survived by two sons and their wives, Hershel and JoAnn Mosier, Eddie and Carol Mosier, and daughter-in-law Beth Mosier as well as 10 grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren who called her “nana.” She will be missed by all of her family and friends. No services will be held according to her wishes, but a family memorial will be held in the future.
