Lake Powell Chronicle, Page, Arizona Monday, Jun 27th, 2011 Steve Mannie died on June 11, 2011 in Page. He was of the Coyote Pass Clan, born into the Zuni Edge Water Clan. His maternal grandfather’s clan is of the Towering House Clan and his paternal grandfather’s clan is Edge Water Clan. Steve was born on June 28, 1963 in Keams Canyon. He is the son of the late Francis Mannie and Marie M. Yazzie. Steve is survived by two children, Dustin (Cresta) Mannie of Page and Valerie (Madison) Dart of Williams. He also is survived by grandchildren Camron and Aeris Mannie, Hailey and Madilyn Dart, two sisters: Victoria Klain, Colleen Mannie (companion Alex Tsosie), three brothers: Alfonso (Annie) Mannie, Victor (Roberta) Mannie, all of Page, and Andrew Mannie of Denver, Colo. He was preceded in death by his father Francis Mannie, sister Thelma Mannie and brother Franklin Mannie, and by both maternal and paternal grandparents. Services were held June 18 at the LDS Church, 313 S. Lake Powell Blvd. Interment was at the Page Cemetery. Valley Ridge Mortuary of Tuba City was in charge of arrangements.
