Hester Onita Loewen, 90, of Page died April 6, 2011.
The ITT engineer was born Sept. 9, 1920 to James Elwodd Stegall and Vera Eleanor Wilson.
She married three times and lived in this community for 32 years; she came here from Monterey Park, Calif.
Hester was a methodist and a member of the Lake Powell Yacht Club and the Page Elks Lodge.
She is survived by five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
A memorial tree planting will be held in Page after her family members have found a location.
She will be remembered as a mom, grandma and great-grandma who bestowed upon her family a legacy of living life to the fullest.
