Rose Elizabeth Palmer, 76, passed away on April 5 in St. George, Utah. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Rose was born in Henrieville, Utah on Nov. 18, 1934 to Elmer and Violet Rose Smith.
She married Clearence Verle Palmer; the couple lived in Page.
Rose taught her children, Verle Kenyon Palmer, Alan Kim Palmer, Jean Palmer and Jone Palmer, to be honest and hard working people.
She loved and was dedicated to the LDS Church.
Rose enjoyed singing in the choir and, when she was able, playing the piano at home. Rose loved, most of all, having her family together.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her son, Alan Kim; and her daughters, Jean and Jone. She is survived by her husband; her sisters, Violet Rae, Emma and Evanell; her brothers, Glover and Grover; her son, Verle Kenyon; four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Her funeral service was held April 9 at the LDS Church at 11 a.m. and she was interred Monday in Henrieville. Mosdell Mortuary handled arrangements.
