Lake Powell Chronicle, Page, Arizona Wednesday, Mar 9th, 2011 Marion Platt, 93, a resident of Sedona, died March 2, 2011. Born in Ladora, Iowa, Feb. 1, 1918, Platt was a school teacher and a Sunday school teacher. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She was a member of the P.E.O. philanthropic sisterhood and also a member of an antique club. She moved to Arizona in 1960 with her husband Ralph, who passed away in December 1995. She is survived by her daughter Diana Stephens and son-in-law Jeff Stephens of Page, two grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. March 12 in the chapel at Greer’s Mortuary of Sedona, with a committal to follow at the Sedona Community Cemetery.
