BURTON, James Grady

James Grady Burton, 75, of west Phoenix, died July 21, 2006, at his home.

Mr. Burton served in the U.S. Navy for nine years and was a transmission specialist and business owner in Tolleson.

Mr. Burton is survived by his wife, Sylvia; one daughter, Tammy Capps; one son, James Burton; three stepdaughters, Andrea Myers, Jeanette Bell and Stephanie Wegg; one stepson, Gene Wegg Jr.; and one grandchild.

Visitation will be at 9 a.m. Friday at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary, 7924 N. 59th Ave. in Glendale. A service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, also at Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary. Interment will be at Resthaven Park Cemetery in Glendale.

Chapel of the Chimes Mortuary made the arrangements.
