CARRANZA, Carmen

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, January 17, 2012 Carmen Carranza, 87, of Tolleson died Jan. 12, 2012, at her home. Ms. Carranza was born July 16, 1924, in Zacatecas, Mexico. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arturo. She is survived by five daughters, Guillermina Gamez, Reyna Raya, Juana, Oliva Cossio and Concepcion Navarro; three sons, Rodolfo, Aurelio and Arturo Jr.; 48 grandchildren; and 107 great-grandchildren. Visitation will be from 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday at Advantage Crystal Rose Chapel, 9155 W. Van Buren St. in Tolleson. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Thursday at St John Vianney Catholic Church, 539 La Pasada Blvd. in Goodyear.
