West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, January 17, 2012 Georgia Combs, 78, of Avondale died Jan. 11, 2012, in Goodyear of pneumonia. Mrs. Combs was born May 23, 1933, in Evansville, Ind. She moved to Arizona in 1943. She worked as an office manager and bookkeeper at Micro-Bio Laboratories. She was a resident at Estrella Care and Rehabilitation. She is survived by two daughters, Donna Ivancovich of Vista, Calif., and Vicki of Glendale; one son, Michael of Peoria; one sister, Margaret Pickett of Mountain Home, Ark.; three grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Road in Peoria. Memorials can be sent to the Arizona Cactus Corgi Rescue, 8169 W. Georgia was a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and Great-Grandmother (Gigi), Georgia was proud of all her family and loved them very much. She is survived by her children, Donna (Ron) Ivancovich, Vista, CA, Mike (Judi) Combs, Peoria, AZ, Vicki (Ron) Combs, Glendale, AZ, 3 grandsons, Philip (Andrea) Combs, Peoria, AZ, Raymond and DJ Ivancovich, Vista, CA and her pride and joy, her Great-Grandson, Corbin Combs. She is also survived by her sister, Margaret Pickett of Mountain Home, AR. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to the staff of Estrella Care and Rehabilitation Center, for their loving care and concern for Georgia. A celebration of her life will be on Saturday, January 21, 2012 at Heritage Funeral Chapel, 6830 W. Thunderbird Rd., Peoria, at 1:00pm.
