West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona Tuesday, January 17, 2012 Edward D. Fields, 70, of Litchfield Park and formerly of New York died Jan. 13, 2012, at his home. Mr. Fields was born July 4, 1941, in New York, N.Y., to Carmen and Edward. He grew up in the Bronx, attending Aviation High School and then Queens College. He was a business entrepreneur for several years after college before going into city government, where he was promoted to director of warehousing for the Human Resource Administration in New York City. He married Erica Elizabeth on July 8, 1991. He is survived by his wife, Erica; one son, Edward Douglas; two daughters, Danielle Dutsch and Janeen Gaskins; and three grandchildren. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Thompson's Valley West Funeral Chapel, 926 S. Litchfield Road in Goodyear.
