James W. Jackson, 65, of Litchfield Park died of cancer Aug. 28, 2010, in Litchfield Park.

Mr. Jackson was born July 17, 1945, in Denver and moved to Arizona in 1973. He was a Navy veteran and worked as an automobile mechanic.

He is survived by one daughter, Phaedra Alton; one son, Troy of Phoenix; his parents, Chet and Juanita of Denver; two brothers, Ron and Bob; and three grandchildren.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Desert Rose Community Church, 7130 N. 71st Ave., Phoenix. The Rev. David Foster will officiate.
