THOMPSON, Robert Bennie

West Valley View, Avondale, Arizona September 03, 2010 Robert Bennie Thompson, 83, of Tonopah died of cardiac arrest Aug. 27, 2010, in Goodyear. Mr. Thompson was born Oct. 18, 1926, in Eakly, Okla., and moved to Arizona in 1953. He worked for a drilling company and later as a manager for the Dan Drew Concrete Co. He is survived by his wife, Betty; three daughters, Claudia Olzak, Rayma Jaurez and Rhonda Helmici; three sons, Danny, Bob and John Orender; one sister, Dorothy Evitt; 18 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. Services are at 10:30 a.m. today at Ganley's Buckeye Funeral Home, 104 E. Baseline Road, Buckeye. The Rev. Joe Blake will officiate. Burial will be at Louis B. Hazelton Memorial Cemetery, 23100 W. Broadway Road, Buckeye.
